NestPack supplies cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) foam for demanding protective packaging applications where standard EPE cannot survive. XLPE offers a tight closed-cell structure, superior compression set, chemical resistance and a premium matte finish that machines cleanly on CNC routers. What is the difference between XLPE and EPE?

XLPE is chemically cross-linked, giving finer cells, better chemical resistance and a premium matte finish. EPE is lower cost and softer, better for light cushioning.

Do you supply XLPE in charcoal?

Yes, charcoal (grey) is our most stocked colour across 25–45 kg/m³ densities.

Can XLPE be laminated with fabric?

Yes — we laminate XLPE with nylon, polyester and PU leather for tool-case trays.

Is XLPE suitable for outdoor use?

XLPE resists UV and moisture better than EPE and is used inside outdoor equipment cases without degradation.
