Medical Foam Inserts
NestPack manufactures medical foam inserts for surgical instrument trays, diagnostic device kits, dental instrument cases, sterile processing trays and hospital field kits. We use medical-grade EVA (latex-free, hypoallergenic) for surgical trays, XLPE for diagnostic cradles, and low-outgassing anti-static grades for imaging and lab equipment. Cavities hold instruments securely through repeated sterilisation cycles, transport and drop events. All materials are RoHS / REACH compliant with material data sheets available for regulatory submissions.

Frequently asked questions
Can your foam inserts survive autoclave sterilisation?
EVA at 150 kg/m³ typically survives 50+ steam autoclave cycles at 121 °C. For higher cycle counts, we specify silicone-lined trays.
Are the materials latex-free?
Yes — our medical EVA and XLPE grades are latex-free and hypoallergenic.
Do you provide biocompatibility documentation?
Material data sheets, RoHS, REACH and skin-contact statements are provided on request. Full ISO 10993 testing is coordinated with an accredited lab.
Can I get a printed instrument label on each cavity?
Yes — laser marking or screen printing of instrument names, part numbers and barcodes is available.
What is the lead time for a surgical tray insert?
Prototypes in 5–8 working days; validated production batches within 3 weeks.
