White & Black EPE Foam Sheets, Die Cut Parts & Custom Foam Fitments
High-quality closed-cell EPE foam sheets, precision die-cut components and custom protective packaging fitments — engineered in Bengaluru for OEMs and exporters across India.

Introduction
EPE foam — Expanded Polyethylene — is the workhorse protective packaging foam used across every Indian manufacturing sector. From electronics factories in Bengaluru and Chennai to automotive Tier-1 suppliers in Pune and Ahmedabad, EPE foam sheets and custom die-cut foam fitments protect sensitive equipment through domestic and export shipments.
Compared to traditional packaging materials — corrugated inserts, bubble wrap, EPS thermocol — EPE offers a superior combination of shock absorption, water resistance, reusability and low freight weight. Its closed-cell structure means no dust, no crumble and no moisture uptake, which is why OEMs specify it inside high-value equipment cases.
This guide covers White EPE foam sheets, Black EPE foam sheets, die-cut EPE foam and custom EPE foam fitments — from material specifications to manufacturing process, industry-by-industry applications, and answers to the 20 most common procurement questions we receive from Indian OEMs.
White EPE Foam Sheets

White EPE foam is the natural, uncoloured form of expanded polyethylene. Its uniform milky-white surface, closed-cell structure and lightweight construction (18–45 kg/m³) make it the most widely used industrial protective foam in India.
White EPE is the most economical density option for cushion sheets, corner blocks, layered pluck-foam, box liners and internal packaging fitments. It cuts cleanly on both CNC routers and steel-rule dies, and laminates easily to plywood, aluminium or corrugated substrates.
Typical industries: electronics packaging, automotive Tier-1, medical equipment, solar module transit, and industrial machinery shipments.
| Property | Specification |
|---|---|
| Colour | Natural white / milky translucent |
| Density Range | 18 – 45 kg/m³ |
| Standard Thickness | 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 mm |
| Sheet Size | 1 m × 2 m (custom sizes available) |
| Cell Structure | Closed-cell, uniform |
| Water Absorption | < 1 % |
| Temperature Range | −40 °C to +80 °C |
| Surface Finish | Smooth, uniform, dust-free |
Black EPE Foam Sheets
Black EPE foam is dyed expanded polyethylene with a premium matte finish. It carries the same closed-cell structure and shock-absorbing performance as white EPE, with three important upgrades: superior UV resistance, a non-reflective luxury surface, and a slightly higher density band (25–55 kg/m³) that supports heavier equipment and more reuse cycles.
Because it hides dust and scuffs, black EPE is the preferred choice for reusable transit cases, export packaging, consumer-brand product presentation and any application where the foam is visible to the customer.
Key differences from white EPE: higher UV resistance, better long-term outdoor durability, premium visual finish, 10–20 % cost premium.

| Property | Specification |

Die Cut EPE Foam

Die cutting is the process of pressing a custom steel-rule die into an EPE foam sheet under a hydraulic press. The die — a bent steel strip formed to your outline — stamps out identical parts on every stroke, in seconds.
It is the fastest and most cost-effective way to produce high volumes of flat EPE parts: corner blocks, gaskets, layered pluck-foam sheets, box liners and OEM assembly consumables. Unit cost drops sharply above the MOQ because tooling amortises across the run.
Ideal for: production quantities of 500+ sets, repeatable flat geometry, layered pluck-foam and any part that can be made from stacked die-cut EPE sheets.
Steel Rule Dies
Custom-formed rule steel bent to your outline for clean, repeatable cuts.
Hydraulic Press
High-tonnage press strokes cut layered EPE in seconds — every stroke identical.
High-Volume Output
Ideal above 500 sets — die-cut cost drops sharply with volume.
Repeat Accuracy
±0.5 mm repeatability across tens of thousands of parts.
Low Unit Cost
Best rupee-per-piece rate above MOQ after one-time tooling investment.
Fast Cycle Time
Seconds per set — perfect for OEM assembly-line packaging.
Custom EPE Foam Fitments
Custom EPE foam fitments are product-specific cavities designed from CAD or a physical sample. Each cavity is dimensioned to the exact geometry of the equipment being packaged — cameras, tools, PCBs, instruments, batteries, drones and industrial modules.
Electronics Packaging
PCBs, servers, drives and modules cradled in dissipative EPE cavities.
Medical Equipment
Diagnostic and surgical instruments protected during transport and storage.
Tool Organisation
Fitted foam layers for hand-tool sets, torque wrenches and calibration kits.
Camera Equipment
Bodies, lenses, gimbals and audio kit in pluck-foam or CNC pockets.
Measurement Instruments
