Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between RSC and HSC corrugated boxes?
An RSC (Regular Slotted Container) has four flaps on top and four on the bottom, all the same depth, meeting in the middle when closed. An HSC (Half Slotted Container) has bottom flaps only and an open top, usually closed with a separate lid.
Should I enter internal or external dimensions?
Enter internal dimensions when you know the size of the product that must fit inside. Choose external when your pallet, shelf or container space is the limit. The configurator shows both as nominal estimates.
Which board should I choose — 3-ply, 5-ply or 7-ply?
3-ply suits lighter products, 5-ply is common for general industrial shipping and 7-ply for heavier or export loads. If you are unsure, tick the recommendation option and our team will suggest a construction for your product and route.
Can you supply boxes with pallets and foam fitments?
Yes. NestPack supplies corrugated boxes with wooden, plywood or plastic pallets and EPE, XLPE or EVA foam fitments from our Whitefield, Bengaluru facility, with delivery across India.
How is the volume calculated?
Nominal volume is internal length × width × height. For example 500 × 300 × 250 mm internal gives 37.5 litres.
